De koffieautomaten van Animo kunnen worden uitgerust met diverse betaalsystemen. De nieuwste innovatie op het gebied van betaalsystemen is het universeel cashless betaalsysteem. Het universeel cashless betaalsysteem is een goed alternatief voor het “oude”, contactrijke pinnen waarbij de pinpas bij elke transactie in de betaalautomaat gestoken moest worden en vervolgens een pincode ingevoerd diende te worden. Een dergelijke actie kost al snel aanzienlijk wat tijd (gemiddeld 15 seconden) terwijl het contactloos betalen slechts drie seconden in beslag neemt.
