Quality

We make high-quality coffee brewing systems and machines for people who want to serve good coffee. User-friendly appliances with many choices that are easy to maintain and long-lasting. Machines that make great coffee time after time. But also tea, chocolate milk or soup. We have been doing this since 1950. For home and abroad. Because good coffee is all about a good machine. And a good machine is a matter of experience, knowledge and dedication.

Since 1950

Animo started in Amersfoort in 1950. The company grew rapidly, so soon a second branch was opened in Assen. In 1996, the Assen branch became the headquarters. In addition to the Asser headquarters, Animo has sales offices with their own warehouses in Belgium, Germany and France. Through a strong dealer network worldwide, we supply the professional end customer in more than 100 countries.

Long history

Founded on Dec. 10, 1950, Animo has a long history. In 1950, founder L. Scheepstra started small, selling coffee makers and supplies, in a small store in Amersfoort. After a successful start, Animo grew rapidly. In 1962, a second branch was added in Assen to continue producing the wide range of products for an ever-widening customer base in more and more countries. For example, the first orders flowed in from Germany.

Animo can provide an efficient solution for any coffee and/or tea supply requirement. We provide both the device for the board meeting and the machine on the shop floor. Our very extensive customer base of professional wholesale users at home and abroad includes (government) institutions, the maritime sector, the hospitality industry and offices. By continuously improving and innovating our products, production and supporting business processes, we achieve high customer satisfaction through optimal value for money, fast delivery time and good service.

Sustainability and craftsmanship

We use only the best materials. Such as stainless steel for the housing, which not only looks elegant but is also durable. In addition, we use only high-quality components, guaranteeing a fast, functioning machine for a long time. We have been ISO 9001 certified since 1994. A high standard of quality is a requirement for us. What is paramount throughout the history is craftsmanship. Machining stainless steel is a craft. The use of stainless steel is still Animo’s trademark.

Knowledge and expertise

The support department with its in-depth knowledge and expertise is invaluable to Animo. This department is available daily and provides technical training to customers on location worldwide or in Assen. As a result, our dealers benefit from excellent knowledge and can thus guarantee our service and quality.

Ready for the future

Animo is a modern company that moves with the times, both in terms of innovation, product development and customization, and in terms of the spirit of the times, perception and needs of consumers. To anticipate the changing market, it is important that Animo moves with the times. A research project is currently underway to further develop the assortment to meet the demand for ever higher quality standards, better innovations and personalization of coffee products.
