Animo in action for Alzheimer’s Netherlands
The rapid growth of dementia has a major impact on healthier aging and thus on achieving a worthwhile future. Animo would like to contribute to realize the dream of Alzheimer Nederland: to prevent or cure dementia. That requires a lot of research. To fund this, Animo supports Alzheimer’s Netherlands.
500,000 bakkies of comfort at Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund
Every year, more than 500,000 cups of comfort are drunk in the Ronald McDonald Houses. Coffee is important to many Dutch people, and especially when they are in a stressful situation, it is important to be able to have a good cup of coffee at any time. Animo sponsors the Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund with Animo coffee machines.
Keeping families close
The Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund ensures that sick children and their families are close to each other. In 12 Ronald McDonald Houses parents and siblings stay within walking distance of the hospital, in 12 Ronald McDonald House Rooms families can relax in a homely atmosphere and in 3 (adapted) vacation homes families with a care-intensive child can catch their breath during a well-deserved vacation. The Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund receives no funding and operates thanks to volunteers, sponsors and donations. #keepingfamiliesclose

Fit & Vital
Animo believes that the physical fitness of colleagues affects all parts of the organization. At Animo, a team called “Fit & Vital” works to encourage employees to exercise. For example, we run with an Animo team during running events and participate in charity bike rides.
Animo Collegerun
To motivate young people to take up sports, Animo sponsors the running race for schoolchildren, the Animo Collegerun. In addition, Animo is a sponsor of the TT Cityrun, a running event directly linked to the famous Dutch TT MotoGP event in Assen.
Local sponsorship
At Animo, we feel it is important to do our part. Besides good coffee, vitality is very important at Animo, which is why we sponsor local sports clubs to encourage sports and healthy living. In addition to sports clubs, Animo is also committed to charitable causes.
