Arabic coffee-flavored mushrooms

This appetizer of Arabic mushrooms is sure to surprise you!

Here’s how to make it

  1. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems.
  2. Clean the leeks and cut them into very thin rings. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  3. Grease a not-too-high baking dish with butter.
  4. Fry the minced meat in a pan and add the leeks, garlic and mushroom stalks. Remove the pan from the heat and add the egg yolk, coffee, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and curry powder.
  5. Mix everything well and fill the mushroom caps with the mince mixture and place them side by side in the baking dish.
  6. Spread the butter over it in very small lumps and put the dish in the center of the oven at 200 degrees for 30 – 40 min. Delicious with French bread or warm toast.

  • 250 grams of minced meat
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons of strong coffee
  • 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 25 grams of butter
  • 12 large mushrooms
