Arabic coffee-flavored mushrooms
This appetizer of Arabic mushrooms is sure to surprise you!

Here’s how to make it
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems.
- Clean the leeks and cut them into very thin rings. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- Grease a not-too-high baking dish with butter.
- Fry the minced meat in a pan and add the leeks, garlic and mushroom stalks. Remove the pan from the heat and add the egg yolk, coffee, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and curry powder.
- Mix everything well and fill the mushroom caps with the mince mixture and place them side by side in the baking dish.
- Spread the butter over it in very small lumps and put the dish in the center of the oven at 200 degrees for 30 – 40 min. Delicious with French bread or warm toast.
