Stewed coffee pear with ice cream

Stewed coffee pear with ice cream.

Here’s how to make it

  1. Bring the 300 ml water with the sugar (300 grams) to a boil and add the coffee.
  2. Remove the skin from the pears and cut them in half (core out) place the pears in the coffee syrup (poach for 2 hours).
  3. Grind the hazelnuts with the sugar (15 grams) and lightly whip the 150 ml cream and mix in the hazelnuts.
  4. Place the pears on a pretty plate and serve a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Pour the coffee syrup over the top and place the hazelnut cream next to it.

  • 6 cups of espresso coffee
  • 3 pears
  • 300 ml of water
  • 150 ml of cream
  • 900 ml vanilla ice cream (1 container)
