Cappuccino bread

A sandwich before a meal is very popular.
You will surprise your guests with this cappuccino bread!
Try this bread recipe with coffee.
8 people – 30 min preparation / 2 hours baking and rising.

Here’s how to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Grease the springform pan and place greaseproof baking paper in it. In a bowl sift the flour and salt, stir in the sugar and yeast.
  2. Stir the butter into the coffee until dissolved. Stir in the milk and add the mixture with the yolks to the drier ingredients and mix into a dough.
  3. Dust the work surface with flour and place the dough on it and knead it smooth and elastic in 10 min. Then knead in the chocolate flakes.
  4. Make the dough into a ball and put it into the mold and cover with greased plastic wrap. Let this rise for 1 hour in a warm place. Then brush the dough with beaten egg and bake for 35 min.
  5. Set the oven to 180 degrees and once the bread is brown enough, cover with aluminum foil. Then bake it in 10-15 min until done.
  6. Let the bread cool in the mold for 10 min, then place on a wire rack. Remove the baking paper and serve in slices.



  • 450 grams of flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 75 grams of fine table sugar
  • 7 grams of dried yeast
  • 120 grams of butter
  • 1 dl of annealing hot strong espresso
  • 1 dl milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 120 grams of dark chocolate flakes
  • 1 beaten egg
