French bread with roasted coffee tomatoes
Everyone knows the bruschetta.
This baguette with roasted coffee tomatoes is a new variation on this.
Try making this recipe as an appetizer, tasty and quick!
Depends on the amount of tomatoes – 10 min preparation / 20-25 min, baking / 1-2 hours waiting time.
Here’s how to make it
- Heat the oven to 200 degrees (hot air)
- Line the baking sheet with the baking paper, wash the tomatoes and place them on the baking sheet. Pour 1 tbsp olive oil over the tomatoes turn them over.
- Roast the tomatoes for 20-25 minutes, take them out when the skins start to blister a bit, let them cool for 1-2 hours.
- Put the tomatoes in a bowl and add the olive oil and coffee, stir well and season with the coarse sea salt.
- Slice the baguette and top each slice with one tomato, garnish with some basil.
