2 persons – 40 min preparation.

Here’s how to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the sweet potato into small strips and mix with the olive oil and place on a baking sheet sprinkled with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for about 30 min. until crispy.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the coffee rub together in a bowl and massage the meat with it. Grill the meat about 1.5 min. on the grill of the BBQ. Also turn the meat to create a pattern (1.5 min). Remove meat from grill and wrap in aluminum foil and leave for 5 min.
  3. Slice the ribeye and sprinkle with some sea salt for flavor. Serve along with the fries.



  • 1 large sweet potato peeled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 ribeyes of about 200 grams for the coffee sub
  • 1 tsp coffee espresso grind
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mixed peppercorns
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp sea salt
